Since I'm involved in a number of creative pursuits on the web, I decided I needed a sort of gateway to all of them. Here you will find a glimpse of some of the things I do: Marketing Communications, Graphic Design, Scrapbooking, Jewelry Design, Crafting, and more. It is a work in progress and you will find more content, more links and more fun stuff added all the time. So settle back with a cup of coffee and have a look around.

What would you like to know? I've lived in California since I was 3. Though I was born in Iowa, I am, technically, a California native. How does that work you ask? My dad was a career Navy guy which means we moved around a bit. So while I was born in Iowa, I was actually concieved in California. And yes, I am aware this is TMI, but you did ask.

I've always loved to try new things and when I was young and nimble, I did all the crazy adrenaline things: sky diving, bungie jumping, scuba diving, rock climbing, mountain biking, blah blah blah... Now that I'm old, I mean older, and a bit creaky, I channel all that energy into more creative pursuits. I split my time between learning new technologies for the web and new techniques for crafting. It's fun and messy, stimulating and ever changing. And I don't have to ice anything at the end of the day.

Professionally, I spent a dozen years in sales, which apparently I was pretty good at, mostly because I enjoy good conversation. I started in industrial woodworking supplies where I was known as the "Saw Girl of San Diego". Then I moved on to being a national sales rep for paintall protective equipment. I forgot to mention paintball in my list of adventures. In my early 30's I went back to school, earned my degree in multi-media design and jumped into the world of high-tech, managing Marketing & Corporate Communications. I learned all about commercial and military computer technologies then moved on to laser technologies. Whew. What a ride. Now I'm gathering all that experience and knowledge together to help entreprenuers pursue their dreams and small businesses succeed. 'Nuff said.
